Here is a checklist of items to take care of in the next few weeks before and during team meetings...

- Notify parents of team membership - please do this ASAP!!
- Create an email notification list - email works well for keeping in touch with parents
- Attend training - next one on January 9th at South High School
- Hold a parent meeting to discuss:
- Meeting dates, times, location
- Tournament date: March 20, 2010 at Eagle Crest High School - plan on ALL DAY!!
- Behavior expectations
- Attendance
- Snack schedule
- Materials purchasing
- Storage of props and sets (NOT at school!!)
- Discuss challenge(s)
- Secure a meeting site
- Contact classroom teachers first then check with Mr. Long
- 15 teams all competing for classroom space - good luck!
- Use your own home or parent's homes if needed - set up a schedule and alternate
- Please update the team info page with all information
- Hold your first meeting with kids
- Establish ground rules FIRST
- Engage in team-building activities
- Discuss the challenge
- Come up with a team name
- Develop a game plan and timeline
