After reading the story, with the members of your group, fill in the table with all of the details of the story.

Characters	Who are the main and supporting characters in the story? Danceing drum (main) grandma(sepporting) grandmother sun(main) moon(suporting) stikball players(sepporting)
Resolution	How is the problem solved. The resolution to the problem is the grandmother says to Dancing Drum that he has to capture Grandmother Sun's ghost. But she flies out and then Grandmother sun continues crying and the people of the Chrokee village do a special sacred dance to cheer Grandmother Sun up. Then she cheers up.
Events	What are the main events in the story? 1.The sun and the moon was arguing about who is more important and the moon makes the sun angry. 2. The sun was so mad she sent scorching heat onto the land. 3. Dancing Drum told the Shaman that the heat was to much and The Shaman said to tell the little men of the wood. 4. Dancing Drum told the men of the wood and he turned into a snake. His purpose was to bite the sun. 5. Dancing Drum went to the suns house and acully bit the suns daghter! 6. The Shaman sent 6 of his best men to get the suns daghter, put her in a basket and bring her back, the men did just that. 7. Dancing Drum,coming back to the village took one peek in the basket and the daghter flew out as a redbird. 8. All the other indians did a dance to bring the sun back and Dancing Drum took his own drum and played a new beat. The sun liked the dance and finally came out again (not scorching)
Problem	What is the main problem in the story? The problem in the story is mother sun gets angry because she thinks no one likes her . So mother sun shins alot of hit down on the indians .
Setting	Where and when does the story take place? The setting in Dancing Drum is in Cherokee indian time Also in the daytime and some in nightime
