After reading the story, with the members of your group, fill in the table with all of the details of the story.

Characters	Who are the main characters & supporting characters? the main characters are: Salmonberry and her friends beacause they have the problem,Clamshel boy beacause he resoleved the problem. And the basket women, beacause she causes the problem. The one supporting charater is Salmonberrys mother, beacause she asked the children to go home with her.
Setting	Where and when does the story take place? The story takes place in an Indian village that is located near a large body of water. This area is known as the Cape and the Indians are known as the People of the Cape.
Events	What are the main events? 1.The first event is when Salmonberry and her frinds stay at the beach 2. Basket Women stole all of the children 3. Salmonberrys mother finds that the girls are gone 4. Salmonberrys mothers cries and a tear drop falls on a clam shell and the clam is the Clam Shell Boy! 5. the clam shell boy kills the Basket Women and saves the children.
Problem	What is the problem in the story? Why is it a problem? The problem in the story is that Basket Women stole Salmoberry and her friends and her mother didnt want to go into the froest to get her only child.
Resolution	How is the problem solved? The problem is solved when Salmonberry's mother's tears droped on a clamshell and the clamshell turned in to a boy. The boy tricked the Basket Women by putting some magic on the Basket Womens face so then she can be more pretty. Then, he told the Basket Women to lean forward to the sea to see what she looked liked. The Clamshell boy made Basket women lean forword untll she crashed into the water to death. After that Clamshell boy can get Salonberry and her friends to exscape.
